Global Process Owner – Record to Report

We are looking for a hands-on and analytical Global Process Owner to take ownership of the Record-to-Report (R2R) process for our legal entities. This role combines technical accounting expertise with a passion for process improvement and data accuracy.

You will ensure financial integrity, compliance, and control across entities, managing the close cycle, safeguarding the balance sheet, and driving process excellence. Key Responsibilities

· Analyze, define, and improve local and global chart of accounts (CoA) structures to drive standardization and transparency.

· Collaborate with global finance and FP&A teams to align CoA design with management and statutory reporting needs.

· Own and reconcile the balance sheet for assigned entities, maintaining documentation and substantiation.

· Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end close calendar, ensuring accuracy, control, and adherence to deadlines.

· Prepare and support statutory and group audits, ensuring timely and complete responses to auditors, enhance the internal control environment.

· Identify and implement opportunities for automation, simplification, and digitization within R2R processes.

· Support SAP S/4HANA roll-outs, enhancements, and testing to ensure finance requirements are met.

As an ideal candidate for the position, you have:

· 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, R2R, or general ledger management.

· Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, with experience in multi-entity environments.

· Proven expertise in SAP FI / S4HANA, including system roll-outs or improvement projects.

· Strong analytical and reconciliation skills; exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

· Experience working in GBS or shared services environments is an advantage.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred but not a requirement.

Location and how to apply

We work in a multi-location and flexible manner both remotely and in the cosy Alma House in Töölönlahti, Helsinki or at the Siperia office in a central location in Tampere. Our locations are accessible.
